> VIEW NPC DUTIES/SUMMARIES.

Due to the plot-heavy nature of the game, a wide range of the characters from Persona 4 are considered to be major NPCs. Anyone may apply for them, however, those who do must keep in mind that they will have to commit time to the plot and work closely with the moderators in order to keep plots running smoothly. Below is an overview of the roles many of the Persona 4 characters will play in relation to the plot:

PERSONA 4.
[ souji seta. ]	SOUJI SETA Having left Inaba on the 21st of March, there is no current way of meeting with Souji. He can be contacted via phone or e-mail as of right now; he keeps in close contact with his friends that remain in Inaba and the surrounding area. The sudden change in his former home is one that is near and dear to his heart though, and until he can come back on his own, will be keeping close tabs, both on the situation and making sure Yosuke feeds the stray cats for him. Played by wildcards.
[ yosuke hanamura. ]	YOSUKE HANAMURA In addition to beginning his third year at Yasogami High, Yosuke is also working more part-time shifts at Junes than he has in previous months. As such, he'll be responsible for aiding those who need assitance getting in and out of the TV world via the electronics department without being caught by customers or other staff... as well as feeding the cats. Played by skillspanner.
[ chie satonaka. ]	CHIE SATONAKA Having lived in Inaba all her life, Chie knows pretty much all there is to know about the town. Spontaneous and outgoing, she is the go-to gal for training outside of the TV World. Filled to the brim with kung-fu knowledge, she'll be designing her own training regimen for anyone interested, as well as responsible for the safety of those involved. As this is her third year of high school, she is also a senpai and will gladly help out those under her as best she can.
[ yukiko amagi. ]	YUKIKO AMAGI In between solving mysteries and high school, Yukiko has to deal with quite a lot. On top of that, she's also next in line to inherit the famous Amagi Inn, which her mother currently manages. Hard-working and determined, she has to help out with the Inn whenever they need her, and thus is who to go to concerning such matters. Her patience will be tested with all the new guests, but she is nothing if not resilient.
[ kanji tatsumi. ]	KANJI TATSUMI Sensitive and tough are two seemingly contradictory adjectives one could potentially hear describing Kanji. This time last year, he was a delinquent often mistaken for being part of a biker gang. Now he's happily helping his mother run Tatsumi Textiles. He will even be holding classes there on Sundays for anyone interested in making plushies, dolls, or clothes. Basically, sewing of any kind. Played by punk_cute.
[ rise kujikawa. ]	RISE KUJIKAWA The television is the place to look for idol Rise Kujikawa! While helping her grandmother out by working at Marukyu Tofu in Inaba, she is also a high school student attending Yasogami. As a second year and an idol, she has to balance homework and plain old work! Talk about a pain, right? Wrong! In between appearing in commercials and other such programs, she's at a much better place with her work than she was during her infamous hiatus. Played by restardom.
[ naoto shirogane. ]	NAOTO SHIROGANE Serious and studious, Naoto is another second year at Yasogami. Available for concerns expressed by any newbie the traditional police will not give the time of day, she is one to listen to those others pay no attention to. Also as a detective, she will spend her free time cracking down on why the fog is still around, and what it is they missed last year. Played by fortunesfavor.
[ teddie. ]	TEDDIE The self-proclaimed King of the TV World is the resident expert in non-human affairs. If anyone knows anything there is to know about the strange transformational process occurring with the not human, the robotic, and the dead, it's Teddie! Though he may not know all that much about that, he does know a thing or two about the TV World, as he is a native of the place. He may also be seen around Junes helping out as a mascot character.
[ nanako dojima. ]	NANAKO DOJIMA Every day's great when you know Nanako! The young elementary schooler is a whooping eight years old. Previously shy and reserved, she has done some growing over the last year. Now that she's healthy, she'll be happy to make new friends with anyone not an initial resident of Inaba. She will also enjoy helping any children who are new get situated at school.
[ ryotaro dojima. ]	RYOTARO DOJIMA Last year was a little rougher on Nanako's father, Dojima. With his partner in jail and his daughter finally out of the hospital, he'll no doubt be exhausted with all these fog shenanigans. Just when they thought everything had been resolved, too… Like any Inaba resident, he'll be concerned for the town and the state it's devolving into. He may not take too kindly to the newer weirdos showing up in town, either, but he's probably a newbie's best bet for knowing what's up with the police. Played by whereismycoffee
[ tohru adachi. ]	TOHRU ADACHI Prison isn't a pretty place, and Adachi knows that. In fact, he's been all too aware of that fact over the last couple months. As a current resident of Okina City Penitentiary, he's had time to think about a few things he might not have considered before. Having been defeated and ready to give up on life, his lawyer did him a large favor by lessening his sentence. It wasn't even something he wanted at the time, and yet… Played by foggiestidea.
[ taro namatame. ]	TARO NAMATAME Wracked with grief and guilt, Namatame is another resident of Okina City Penitentiary. He is serving out his sentence, one lesser than Adachi's, in another section of the building. With his career as a council secretary over, his wife stripping him of all he has, and his mistress dead, Namatame's life is in a sad state. He is, of course, available to be visited if you talk to the right person.
[ mitsuo kubo. ]	MITSUO KUBO To pick a single word to describe Mitsuo, it would have to be disturbed. Held in a Juvenile Detention Center in Okina City, his days are spent denying strange memories of an unresponsive self, eight-bit scenery, and an overgrown fetus. Really, they're not pretty, and neither is he as an individual. Angry at the world and most importantly, at himself (and yet unable to acknowledge that all the same), he's lost and has nothing more to look forward to in life.
[ noriko kashiwagi. ]	NORIKO KASHIWAGI Breaking from the seriousness comes Ms. Kashiwagi, homeroom teacher of Class 2-2 at Yasogami High. This mature beauty is responsible for a majority of the school's event planning and what exactly goes down in it due to having those in charge wrapped around her well-manicured finger. A word of caution to the boys, else she'll have them in just the same situation. Or not.
[ hanako ohtani. ]	HANAKO OHTANI A good friend of Ms. Kashiwagi, Hanako also has a say in what exactly happens at the school despite being a third year and no longer in Ms. Kashiwagi's class. Friendship is eternal, after all, and these two have laughed together, cried together, and slept together. In the same room at the Amagi Inn, of course. Other than that, she's a selfish student who won't share any of her food, especially if you ask.
[ aika nakamura. ]	AIKA NAKAMURA Genius has struck Aika, and from this year on-ward Chinese Diner Aiya will be delivering anywhere in town! A pretty girl with a deadpan demeanor, she is a third year at Yasogami High. Though she didn't play any notable role in the previous year, she is the daughter of the folks who own the diner and has decided to take more initiative in helping out with the family business. If one orders delivery from Aiya's, one should expect to see her!
[ shrine fox. ]	SHRINE FOX All your yens are in danger of disappearing once you meet the mysterious Shrine Fox. It has access to a special leaf growing somewhere behind the shrine that is able to revitalize a human's energy upon contact, which it will offer in exchange for a hefty sum of yen. What it is most concerned about is the shrine's longevity. Donations need to keep coming to it, and thus new comers to the town of Inaba are free to submit ema requests or to take them on and fulfill them. It also has a litter of fox pups, which may be mistaken for the mother if seen at a glance.
[ naoki konishi. ]	NAOKI KONISHI There's nothing too interesting new comers could provide Naoki. He's a disinterested kid who only last year went through a grievous loss. Sure, he's doing better now, and he's able to smile again without worry, but his time and energy is focused on helping the family business out. The said family business just so happens to be a liquor store, so if a newbie wants to get their hands on some booze, Naoki would be your kid to talk to.
[ ai ebihara. ]	AI EBIHARA The recent manager of a sports team, Ai is yet another third year at Yasogami High School. Whether or not she's helping out with the sports teams this year is up in the air. Who knows what this girl will get up to in the coming year? Well, aside from head up to Okina City to do her shopping. Anyone wanting to head up with her might want to hurry up and bring a decent helping of patience, because she's fairly high maintenance when it comes to comparing her to other tour guides.
[ kou ichijo. ]	KOU ICHIJO Basketball is Kou's main thing, and this year he'll be the captain of the team. He and his best friend forever Daisuke are the two sports teams' leading members this year. Want to join the basketball team? Any high school student (and maybe middle school if asking especially nicely) wanting to participate should get themselves acquainted with him. He had some family drama going on last year, but it's better not to ask now that it's been resolved.
[ daisuke nagase. ]	DAISUKE NAGASE Soccer is the alternative choice with Daisuke over here. He's the more typical jock type than his BFF Kou. Sports-obsessed, he has girl troubles where Kou has family drama. Want to join the soccer team? Daisuke's your man, and he's a loyal one if you manage to get him on your side. He's also a fan of sports movies and Aiya's. Actually both he and Kou are down with Aiya's, if any new comers ever want to see what the place is like. soccerbro.
[ ayane matsunaga. ]	AYANE MATSUNAGA Younger than she looks, Ayane is the resident loli of Yasogami. She'll be a second year this year, and an avid but shy member of the band. Though she may not be the most talented of members, she's certainly hard working and tries her best to remain as aware as possible of what her club is up to. Want to know what's up with the band? Ask Ayane, she'll be happy to help answer any questions.
[ yumi ozawa. ]	YUMI OZAWA Drama is one word to describe what last year was about for Yumi. She's a third year now but has decided to stay away from the drama club this year. Want to know about it? Don't ask her. (Or do. She is still talented and knows a fair amount about the stage despite swearing off it.) That's right, she is spending this year doing the most she can for her future. Or not. We'll see how the year goes.
[ sayoko uehara. ]	SAYOKO UEHARA Previously a nurse who practiced at Inaba Municipal Hospital, Sayoko has a sultry voice and a mischievous attitude. She is now working at Okina City's Hospital instead, having transferred there recently. Any serious injuries or complications? New comers may find themselves at her hospital instead of the one in Inaba if things get bad enough. Not to mention, it hardly hurts to have a nurse on your side.
[ hisano kuroda. ]	HISANO KURODA Black is the color of old Hisano's clothing, and she might say it is reminiscent of the color of her heart or soul or something equally melodramatic. She has previously called herself Death and wandered around the Samegawa Flood Plain some afternoons. Nowadays she's moved away to live with her grown child, but she sometimes visits. New comers may find her at the cemetery on days such as those, or perhaps at the flood plain for old time's sake.
[ shu nakajima. ]	SHU NAKAJIMA Middle schooler Shu is a boy whose mother wants to shape him up to be the top. The best of the best, going from the right kindergarden to the right elementary school to middle to high to college… He's been thoroughly tutored a good portion of last year in everything from Latin to how stupid he is when he thinks no one would miss him if he up and died. New comers his age will need to talk to him about school, but he may not be so willing to entertain outsiders without compensation.
[ eri minami. ]	ERI MINAMI As a step-mother, Eri stays at home taking care of her step-son Yuuta as best she can. The two had a hard time accepting each other last year, but through some help they've bonded. She still takes him to the day care on Sundays, however, and new comers may see her there to pick him up if they decide to take up a part time job at the establishment.

Persona 3 characters harbor a similar role. Living P3 characters will arrive to Inaba via train - further detail on this will be distributed upon character's acceptance. They will be able to summon their Personae just as they could before; Caligo will not change the nature of their summoning. Deceased characters will arrive via the fog, much like original characters and panfandom characters. They will be used as a draw for the P3 characters to Inaba. Though their roles as NPCs are considered to be significantly less strenuous than that of the P4 characters, they are still extremely integral to Caligo's plot. Please keep this in mind if you're interested in applying for any NPC character!

The following characters are unable to be apped at Caligo. There are a variety of reasons for this, ranging from canon mechanics to future plots. They are as follows:

• Kinshiro Morooka; Canon mechanics
• Ameno-sagiri; Mod-controlled NPC.
• Izanami; Mod-controlled NPC
• Theo; Will be introduced via an in-game event.
• Elizabeth; Will be introduced via an in-game event.
• Marie; Will be introduced via an in-game event following the release of Persona 4: The Golden.
• Minato Arisato; Will be introduced via an in-game event.
• Minako Arisato; Will be introduced via an in-game event.
• Metis; Will be appable after an in-game event.
• Nyx and Erebus, due to their nature and effect on the overarching plot.

Any characters not listed above are still, of course, playable in the game, though their roles will serve a different purpose. Please contact the mods if you have any questions regarding either applying for an NPC or an unlisted Persona 3/4 character!

Please note that Persona 4 characters who are currently not being played by others will be active as mod-controlled NPCs in the interim!
