See something about the game you think needs improvement? Why not help us improve? We're open to suggestions of any kind related to the game! Whether it's related to gameplay, mechanics, or a cool plot idea, we'd love to hear from our players.

On the FAQ, when a question is asked in the comments and is answered, I suggest editing the FAQ with that question and its answer. It would be incredibly helpful for players (current and, more importantly, potential) as finding a question and answer is much easier to do so in the FAQ itself rather than looking through the many, many comments in the threads below, as they are much easier to miss.

So I'm in a bit of a bind! My character needs a bigger house which is cool and he will handle that but what I am here for is this:
He wants to start a dormitory living because the people who live with him are a majority of students -- it's ... eight people i think and only two of them are teachers while the rest are students. Wow that sounds sketchy but okay MOVING ON.
So he wanted to propose to the principal of the school about dormitories and setting some up. He and another teacher -- the other teacher in his house -- would be the "leaders" of the dorm he would live in and then other people can do the same with their cr and such. Dormitories! It would be an easier way for students coming in to have a living place and it can even be random assignments too once the ball gets up and rolling ICly.
So, I guess that's my suggestion? Dormitories? I NEED HELP QUICK because their house is getting pretty crowded and I want to get everyone settled already ICly. PLEASE AND THANKS. ;A;

In essence, while it's a good idea at first glance, it's not exactly practical. The school doesn't have that sort of money, and neither do your characters.
For a short term solution, however, you have a few options. Right now, the Amagi Inn is free to stay at provided those staying there chip in with the chores and what not. You're free to have a group of eight or more characters share a few rooms there! Eventually, once your group is able to save a bit of money up and they have a steady stream of income, you could probably have them buy leases for apartments in the same complex. Effectively, they could serve as apartment-style dorms without being dorms, if you catch my meaning. You'd be free to stuff as many teachers and students in the apartment housing as could fit, and as long as the rent gets paid every month your NPC landlord isn't going to care or ask questions.
Hopefully this helps and answers your questions, but if not let us know and we'll try to clear things up further.
